I've been running some rta lately and I came across something that I don't know how to fix yet. After a while of playing the game, loading screens progressively get longer and longer. When loading screens get longer like this, they actually affect how quantum loads work.
When I first start up my game, I can get the clip for the conversion intro SR just fine, but in the middle of some runs, I literally could not clip and had to do the normal strats. In finale4, while clipping into the last room, I can never get the clips before restarting my game >.<
Really not sure if there's a way around or if it's just something i'll have to deal with

Interesting... I've definitely seen the game loads increasing in time if you play the game for a while; but never thought about the effects on quantum loading Interesting and important find. My only tip is to restart your game before starting a run, but I'm guessing that's still an issue even as you go through the run (?) Otherwise idk how else to fix the issue

despite the issues, i got a 1:05:55 rta. was a pretty sloppy run with lots of room for improvement. the biggest issue with the loads right now is that if it gets bad by the time i get to conversion intro, it's very unlikely that i can do the SR.
I want to try making a few short tutorials for my setups and strats in this catagory, so look out for that.

I'm very curious as to how you timed this run... and while it is interesting, I still don't view the pseudo challenge mode game state as beating the single player story. Not to mention the use of cheats to enable non-white OoB vision.
On another note, I also have had a lot of inconsistency with save/load clipping and it is probably the single most frustrating glitch in the game for me because of its dependency on loading screens and other seemingly random factors. For some super reportals in the segmented run I had to load the same save over and over and only 1 in 20 times would it actually clip me properly.

For some super reportals in the segmented run I had to load the same save over and over and only 1 in 20 times would it actually clip me properly. I removed the loading screens manually using sony vegas. I don't really see the issue with the flags glitch, and honestly it's a fun run for me. And yea, I know the pre-game cheats to see oob is a little questionable, but to be fair, they are turned off again and can't be used for anything during the run. I don't really have a means to prove this, but I think that loading screens in general affect the clipping across all computers. What I mean by this is, it may be possible that a higher end computer can get clips easier. Unfortunately, if this happens to be the case, this catagory would have an unavoidable advantage for people with better computers. Keep in mind, this is a theory, I don't have proof right now.
